CABA Committees

The best way to get involved with CABA is to join a CABA Committee.

Ambassador Committee

Members of CABA’s Ambassador Committee are our “super connectors” who welcome new CABA members, make special introductions, and connect new CABA members to their vast array of CABA benefits.

Community Outreach Committee

Members of the Community Outreach Committee focus on connecting CABA members to the community with CABA signature events that include Trunk or Treat and the Holiday Tree Lighting and partner with organizations on Northdale Family Fun Fest, etc.

Directory & Technology Committee

The CABA Directory/Technology Committee manages CABA’s search engine optimized (SEO) online directory and creates online advertising opportunities like banner ads, member-to-member deals, and hot deals.

Golf Committee

CABA’s Golf Committee plans and executes the annual CABA Golf Classic, CABA’s biggest fundraiser of the year that raises funds for a CABA member non-profit. The committee regularly schedules golf outings at CABA member golf courses known as Networking on the Nines.

Government Committee

CABA began as a group of volunteers that formed a partnership between Carrollwood business owners and the Florida Department of Transportation. The Government Committee continues to engage CABA in public-private partnerships with local government.

Membership Committee

CABA’s team of recruiters who invite prospective members to visit a CABA event and who welcome our guests and introduce them to their “ideal referral partners” comprise our Membership Committee.

Programs Committee

As an event-driven association, our Programs Committee functions as our event planners and managers of our very active CABA calendar that includes CABA coffees, CABA After 5’s, and ribbon cuttings.

Power Lunch Committee

CABA’s immediate past president works with the Power Lunch Committee to plan monthly “speed networking” events at CABA member restaurants where CABA members have an opportunity to sponsor a table and/or engage in round-robin B2B networking.

Publicity Committee

Members of CABA’s Publicity Committee work to promote all of CABA’s events through publications, media, social media, and digital platforms.  They are available to help CABA members with how they promote their business with CABA.

Special Events Committee

CABA’s largest event of the year, CABA Presents Taste of Carrollwood, has attracted up to 5000 attendees to its annual event, held at state-of-the-art venues like George M. Steinbrenner Field and Raymond James Stadium. Committee members solicit sponsors and promote the event throughout Greater Tampa Bay to connect CABA members to the public.
